Designing books was the beginning of my artistic career. During my training as a bookbinder, I developed a growing passion for new binding techniques – especially adhesive-free bindings.
For my final project at the Kassel Academy of Design, I designed and produced magnetic closures. Using this invisible attraction for books fascinates me again and again.
